Hammerfall reveals new details about upcoming album

Hammerfall posted an official update regarding its upcoming album on the band’s Facebook. This is what it said:

‘A little reminder, since we still get a lot of questions about when a new album might come out. HammerFall will record a new studio album starting on Monday, and we will once again use Fredrik Nordström as a producer. For the cover art, we have enlisted Andreas Marschall for the first time since “Renegade”, so the artwork should be something very special. The yet-untitled album will be released on August 29th, 2014, and on that same day we will do a show at the amusement park Liseberg in Göteborg. It will serve as a huge release party and the kick-off of the next HammerFall era. There you have it, in a nut shell.’

Reach – A new swedish wave reaching out

Last week I got a chance to chat with Alex (middle right) and Ludvig (middle left) from Reach, a new Swedish hard rock band. Although they are young and their debut album is still on the way, don’t let that fool you! Their very catchy cover of Avicii‘s hit ‘Wake me up’ got around half a million views on Youtube and they already have a label backing them up. So who are these guys and what’s so special about them? Jaska Raatikainen (Children of Bodom) has suffered damage to his back

It seems that Jaska Raatikainen, drummer of Children of Bodom, has suffered from three prolapsed discs in his back during their European tour. He even ended up at the hospital for one evening, but, fret not, after a well deserved couple of months of break he seems to be doing better and he is ready to rock once more! This is the statement from his official Facebook page:

‘As you all know already we started touring again. I know, I have been very lazy here on my page but I was exhausted from all the constant touring that started last summer. It was almost 5 months in a row and I definitely needed these 2 months of doing nothing and giving my time to my family and myself.

Also, I had very bad back pains during the European tour that I was hospitalised for a day in Spain...
